I can't guarantee that these bands actually played at The Gasworks but I figure they're part of the Toronto and Canadian music scene and should be included. If any of you know details about them please contact me through the email address below or go to the contact page. And of course if you have promo material you can pass along such as scans or originals (originals will be returned) I'd love to hear from ya.

In the mid 1960s THE STITCH IN TYME was one of the most popular bands in Canada. The band featured a very entertaining stage show and 5-piece vocal harmonizing. They recorded on ARC and YORKVILLE records. The band released "GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE", a song written by the BEATLES, which became a CROSS CANADA HIT. Plus they were featured on many TV SHOWS including "AFTER 4" a popular show out of TORONTO. They played Expo 67 for two weeks as well as constantly touring Canada and the U.S.A.
